KEEPING ROUTE 47 BUSINESSES FRONT AND CENTER
The City of Woodstock has partnered with two local signage vendors to offer pre-approved promotional and informational signage for businesses located along the Route 47 project corridor during construction. This program is designed to help businesses maintain visibility, communicate important information to customers, and reinforce that they remain open and accessible throughout construction.
The City has developed a variety of ready-to-use sign designs, and all sign sizes included in the program have been reviewed and approved by the City's Building and Planning Department for temporary display on private property. Participating businesses can work directly with the approved vendors to select signage that best meets their needs, making it easy to obtain compliant, professional signage during construction.
Ordering Process
Businesses interested in participating should contact one of the approved vendors listed below for information on available products, pricing, and ordering information. Please note that a temporary sign permit is required for the following signs:
To support participating businesses, the City Council has waived the permit fee. The Building and Planning Department will work with business owners to determine the proper number and location of signs. Prior to submitting a permit application, please contact Building and Planning at 815-338-4305.
All signs must be placed on private property and may not be located within the public right-of-way. For questions regarding signage, placement, or compliance, please contact the City's Building and Planning Department.
