Construction Update 

Spring 2026
The City of Woodstock is excited to announce that construction on Route 47 began the Week of April 1, 2026! Over the next several weeks, contractors will start to install erosion control measures, saw-cut pavement in preparation for underground work, and install temporary traffic signals throughout the project area. 

Crews will complete this work using daily lane closures, weather permitting. In the coming weeks, as crews complete this initial phase, they will begin utility improvements, including new water main, sanitary sewer and storm sewer throughout the corridor. 

All work will typically take place Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. Some Saturday work may occur in the future, but is not anticipated until later on in the project. 

Access to businesses may be impacted temporarily on occasion, but contractors will work to minimize these disruptions as much as possible. Please be patient and use caution when traveling through construction areas!
